Register Now for Our Summer Camps!

Camp Ruffin’ It is an interactive camp for kids ages 11-13! Camp Ruffin’ It will be held weekly July 16^th through the 23^rd, from 2-4pm each day. This camp is designed to offer active learning opportunities for older children considering a career working with animals. Campers will have the chance to witness surgeries, learn behavior training, care and handling of a variety of animals. Space is limited.

Critter Camp is our camp for kids which features fun, pet-related activities. Weekly sessions for kids between the ages of 6-10 are available June 11^th through June 29^th, and July 9^th through August 10^th. Camp runs from 9am-12pm each day.

Buffy: Update

Hello! It’s me, Buffy, and I wanted to thank everyone for their support this past week. The hundreds of LHS animals and I truly appreciate your kind thoughts and generosity.

Before I came to LHS, I lead a life of loneliness, neglect, and pain. My sad, former life was obvious as I was covered in gigantic mats of hair from head to toe, so much so, the staff could not even determine if I was a boy or a girl. I was in so much pain that I could hardly move. Thankfully LHS was there for me and four man-hours and over five pounds of shaved mats later, I emerged from my restful sleep a beautiful, young lady.

Mutt Putt 2012

Join us Monday, June 11 for our 17th Annual 18-Hole Golf Scramble, Mutt Putt! This year's event will be at the Marriott Griffin Gate Resort & Spa. Lunch will begin at 11 a.m., and the Shotgun Start will be at 1 p.m. Please RSVP by May 14th!
