To become an LHS volunteer it is necessary to attend an orientation and training combo class.
Please note, our March orientation, held March 25th from 1-4pm, is currently FULL.
Our next orientation and training combo class will be held April 8th from 1-3pm in the LHS Adoption Center Conference Room. RSVP is required, as spots fill quickly. Please call (859) 233-0044 ext. 254 to RSVP. If you’re unable to attend the next scheduled orientation, please check back as we update monthly. Volunteers are asked to commit to serving as a volunteer for a minimum of 6 months and average 4 hours of service per month. Your time is valuable and we want to ensure that the program is the proper fit for you.
Please note, we do not have the resources to provide for mandated community service hours.
