FAQ
Any potential LHS volunteer must:
- Be at least 16 years old
- Commit to a minimum 4 hours a month for at least 6 months
*Please note: Our volunteer program is not intended for mandated community service.
You can expect a response within 3-5 business days.
If approved, you’ll receive an email notification confirming your acceptance into the program!
Yes! Once your application has been accepted, all new volunteers are required to attend a Volunteer Orientation, lead by our Volunteer Specialist.
Upcoming dates are below:
- Monday, April 6: 2pm-4pm
- Sunday, April 12: 11am-1pm
Once your application is approved, most communication and scheduling will be handled via email. You’ll also have access to specific opportunities through our volunteer website, where you can sign up for shifts that fit your schedule.
Yes! Volunteers must:
- Commit to at least 4 hours per month for a minimum of 6 months
- Maintain active communication via email
- Adhere to all LHS policies and procedures at all times
