Pet Resources

Are you a pet owner with questions or in need of advice?

All too often, animals enter into homes that are unprepared for the new addition, have unrealistic expectations about a breed, or simply get in over their heads. We’re here to help you work through any rough patches or to help you adjust and learn as a new or continuing pet parent.

If you are looking to bolster your pet care skills, visit the Adopt Love Blog or the ASPCA website for grooming guides, nutrition information, pet safety tips, and more.

Good Pup

GoodPup is a one-on-one dog training service that partners with shelters in hopes of reducing return rates. LHS adopters receive one week FREE upon activation and discounts for continued service. The training is held through an app and users can video chat with a trainer, which is convenient and easy. There is no obligation, you can cancel at any time.
