When Raisin first arrived in March 2024, she was barely alive—just 17 pounds, weak, anemic, and covered in sores. Our team fought to save her, nursing her back to health with months of care and compassion. By summer, she was thriving—happy, healthy, and adopted into a loving home.

But recently, Raisin came back. She weighed only 19 pounds, her nails overgrown, her body covered in bites and filth. Our hearts broke to see her like this again—after all she’d endured and overcome.

And yet, Raisin still wags her tail. She still trusts, loves, and leans into every gentle hand.
