If you see my profile, I’m still available for adoption!
I’m currently in a temporary foster home. If you are interested in adopting me, fill out an application HERE and a member of our team will reach out to set up a meet-and-greet!

Check out these notes about Boo from our LHS volunteers!
“Boo has been working hard to make sure that he is having as much fun as he can while remaining as respectful and selfless as possible. While already being responsive to many signals like sit, go down, and shake, Boo has been working on ‘drop it’ and ‘leave it’ to give others a chance to play with his toys. Boo is a very intelligent dog, and a very quick learner. Anything you try to teach him can be picked up very quickly, as he almost seems to treat it like his own little game! There is nothing that Boo can’t do; he just needs to see how it’s done once or twice and he is pretty much a natural!”
“Boo is a 3 year old pitbull mix, who probably thinks that he is the one trying to adopt you! Boo is one of the most playful dogs in the world, and will stop at nothing to find his next new friend or activity. Boo loves to play, whether that be running outside alongside whoever will accompany him, or chasing down the nearest tennis ball, he is always raring to go and ready to have some fun! There may not be another dog in the world as excited to meet new friends as Boo, and he’s very friendly about it too! He almost never barks at others, and will always just try to play with other dogs or humans before anything else.”
“Boo is super sweet and loves attention!”
“Boo is an absolute sweetheart! He settled in quickly and wasted no time showing off his love for cuddles—he especially enjoys resting his head on you for a cozy snuggle. On his walk, Boo was all smiles with excellent leash manners, completely unfazed by passersby and just thrilled to be exploring. He especially loved strolling through the grass and sniffing around the blooming bushes. Boo would make a wonderful companion!”
“Boo is so sweet! He’s super quiet too and doesn’t bark often. He loves to play with toys on his own and likes leisurely walks. He’s super interested in other dogs and people but isn’t very reactive. He’s well trained as well and super smart he picked up training easily. He loves to be right beside you. He is very food motivated. He’s a gentleman and a loyal companion. He loves attention and enrichment activities. He’s super easy to walk on the leash and most importantly he is sooo sweet. He slept with me every night in the bed and likes to cuddle right beside you. He’s such a sweet soul and a little goofy at times but a smart fella. Super smart and sweet.”
“He is the most delightful, wonderful companion I have ever experienced, and has been bringing me utmost joy and excitement in my life. I love Boo very much, and we are always doing things together, i.e., going for hikes around the lake, talking leisurely strolls on my horse farms, and relaxing on my shady balcony overlooking the Daniel Boone National Park.”
