If you see my profile, I’m still available for adoption!
I’m currently in a temporary foster home. If you are interested in adopting me, fill out an application HERE, and a member of our team will reach out to set up a meet-and-greet!

Check out these notes about Oreo from our LHS volunteers!
“Oreo is doing good! He is not a fan of the cold weather, but he is loving his couch and blankets. Oreo has claimed all the blankets as his own now.”
“Oreo has been just wonderful. Whoever adopts Oreo will be very lucky! Oreo is so funny. He enjoys a few select toys, one in particular. He’ll leap in the air like a fox and pounce on the toy, makes it squeak with only his nose, it’s the funniest thing. When he gets the zoomies outside, it’s a sight, we’ve never gotten to capture a good video because he is so fast. We haven’t introduced him to sleeping in the bed, we know some families may not want dogs in the bed. He is great, he sleeps soundly in his dog bed or on the couch, in the living room, and stays there peacefully until somebody wakes up for the day.Oreo enjoys looking out the storm door, playing fetch, going to the park, snuggles in the mornings, and he likes watching TV. ”
“Oreo is ready for his forever home 🐶🏠!! He will match your energy level, which is wonderful. Feeling lazy, want to just watch movies, great, he will rest with you. Feeling active and want to enjoy the sunshine, he’ll be ready.”
“Oreo is doing great! Now that he is settled, he is showing off his personality. He is a total goofball, makes us laugh all of the time.”
“Oreo is doing very good! He is doing good with his training. He just learned how to wait when setting down his dog food, and will wait until told to go ahead. We’re practicing recall, sometimes he gets distracted easily. He has mastered couch cuddles, and is hoping for a warm place to call his permanent home.”
“Oreo is doing so good. He has been enjoying being outside, with some of the warmer days we’ve had. Oreo thinks he is an Olympian dog sometimes. When playing fetch, he must run at maximum speed, and sometimes that includes him hopping over patio furniture to get to the tennis ball quicker. Any shortcut he can take playing fetch, he will. What a goofy boy he is. Whoever is lucky enough to adopt him will be mad at themselves that they didn’t adopt him sooner. A day with Oreo, brings many laughs.”
“Oreo is still doing amazing, he has found a new love for snow and loves to roll around in it! He has opened up so much and is just the best snuggle buddy. He’s a great dog for any family.”
