If you see my profile, I’m still available for adoption!
I’m currently in a temporary foster home. If you are interested in adopting me, fill out an application HERE, and a member of our team will reach out to set up a meet-and-greet!

Check out these notes about Skylar from our LHS volunteers!
“Skylar is the sweetest baby! Loves people, couch, sunbathing and his foster sister. He enjoys knowing he can go out whenever he asks (which is often) he gets so excited he grabs a toy from the basket and frolics out the door! He’s not thrilled about the crate, but goes in without complaint. His favorite activity is evening couch time. He will nap ON us with his foster sister and the cat.”
“We grabbed a pup cup and took a walk at the Lexington Cemetery, where Skylar had a great time sniffing and exploring. He did get warm fairly quickly, so we made sure to take breaks in the shade and cooled off in the car with the A/C. He rode very well in the car and seemed comfortable the whole time.”
“He’s very excited to go on our walks in the evening. Never acts foolish when meeting with other dogs. He loves to start out with a little run. Then we settle in to an easy walk. Loves the cats. He can often be found napping with our big Tuxedo cat. He is house trained and doesn’t have to be crated at night or while we’re at work. He LOVES sunbathing, playing with toys and his dog foster sister and napping on the couch.”
