Your Lexington Humane Society is proud to offer a pet food bank throughout the year for Lexington pet owners who need help feeding their pets. Food assistance is offered Tuesday – Friday from 10am-5pm at our Administration Building located at 1600 Old Frankfort Pike, building B. The demand for food is great but our supplies are limited. If you or someone you know needs help feeding their pets, please call us today at 859-233-0044 x 238!

The Lexington Humane Society Pet Food Pantry is supported, in part, by the O. Daniel Wilds Memorial Endowment.

Please keep the following in mind:

  • LHS is able to offer the Pet Food Pantry to those in need
  • LHS operates the Pet Food Pantry when we have donated food available
  • LHS cannot reserve a specific type of food for your pet. We are able to offer this service based on donated food that comes through our doors
  • We are not able to deliver food - participants must have a ride to our Administration Building or utilize the bus stop on Old Frankfort Pike
