Tails and Ales is an annual beer tasting event hosted by your Lexington Humane Society to raise much-needed funds for the animals. This year, the event will be held from 7pm-10pm on March 6th at The Campbell House!
How does a beer tasting work?
Several tables will be setup throughout the event so you can sample craft brews from our beer vendors and possibly score some free merch, such as stickers, koozies and more. Mingle with fellow animal lovers as you make your way around the room, sampling tasty beer with your handy Tails & Ales tasting glass – which is FREE with registration! There is no limit to the amount of times you can visit a vendor/brew station.

What else will be at the event?
When you walk into the event, you will be greeted by adorable, adoptable puppies! They are there to provide kisses, tails wags and to say thank you for supporting the animals. As you walk around the event, enjoy live music by Kenny Owens and Group Therapy. Who knows, maybe the dance floor will look more inviting after you’ve had a few. We’d love to see your moves!
Don’t forget to stop by our Roomba Pong station to show off the skills you acquired back in the good ole’ days. Solo cups are attached to a Roomba vacuum which moves continuously as you try to make a ping pong ball into the cup. Every score you make enters you for the chance to win a brand new Roomba and it’s only $10 to play!
We will have several raffle opportunities so be sure to enter for your chance to win a cooler full of beer, $200 worth of lottery tickets or a basket of toys that could last your pet an entire year. ALL proceeds benefit the animals!
How does the online auction work?
You do not have to attend the event in order to participate in the online/silent auction. By attending the event, you get an up-close look at all the items available! Once you’ve registered to participate in the auction here, bid on your favorite items to benefit the animals. This year’s online auction ends on Friday, March 6th at 9:30pm.
What are the perks of being a VIP?
Register as a VIP to receive early access to the event, an awesome Tails & Ales pint glass (in addition to your tasting glass), delicious hors d’oeuvres and more!
Can I purchase a table at the event?
Yes! You’re welcome to purchase a VIP cocktail table which stands approximately 4 people or a VIP seated table which can seat up to 8 guests. By purchasing a table you will receive all the VIP perks!

The fine print:
You must be 21 years or older in order to attend the event or bid on alcoholic items in the auction. Dress is business casual. There will be a coat check station provided at no additional cost to you. Sorry, personal pets are not permitted at this event. Please drink responsibly. If you need assistance with transportation, please see the check-in table at the event. Online ticket sales will end at 12pm on Thursday, March 5th. Tickets will not be sold at the door.
